Xero Learn - Course is about to Expire

Created by Christie Laffan, Modified on Wed, 24 Mar, 2021 at 2:25 PM by Christie Laffan

Employees who create courses in Xero Learn will be sent an email from Xero when their course is about to expire.

This is based on the course duration options selected when the course was set up and refers only to said the course. These emails do not refer to the Xero Learn account expiring.

If Employee needs to extend an expired course, they can do this by following the below instructions.

Fixed end date courses

  1. Select the Courses tab.
  2. Select the Expired tab, then open the relevant course.
  3. Click the overflow menu to the right of the student.
  4. Select Edit end date, then select a new date. The End Date can be edited until the latest extension expiry date is reached.

The course will go back to In Progress and show a tag of Extension to denote that the course was extended for one or more students. When the latest student extension expiry date is reached, the course will go back to Expired.
